The guys over on the Top Gear US site have been building a project car ‘to save the world’.
Project Sipster is based on the idea of taking an old VW Rabbit – that’s a Golf to the rest of us – and trying to hit 70mpg and 0-60 in 7 seconds with it, after a few modifications. They ended up with a pretty cool car, and shot lots of video of the whole thing for you to watch . Check out the index page for all of the episodes.
Unusual name but a great idea (if slightly impossible).
i check out both websites (wich is the uk and us) and it can have a good race against the gti.
