Another distraction in the Top Gear office yesterday was Google Street View. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s a tool that lets you zoom right in to certain city streets and have a nose around. The best bit? We found the TG office. And Stig is standing in our window.

slightly off topic i saw a noble the other day on kensington high st with the reg THE 571G.
I hate to be a wet blanket, but I think that’s a mannequin. I remember seeing a Stig suited mannequin in a TG commercial with a director or a producer. The mannequin was in a glass case in back of shot behind the speaker.
Still, pretty freakin’ cool that streetview caught this.

and google probably contacted the BBC for permission to take the photo’s since it is all private property, and they thought it would be good publicity to put the stig there, then post it here on the website to advertise
