Lamborghini LP-670/4 SV video

Posted by Tom Ford at 12:51 pm on Monday March 16, 2009

Doesn’t look bad now does it? But I don’t actually think the one in the video is four-wheel drive, judging by some of the acrobatics. Still, I wouldn’t push one out of my dream garage, thank you very much. Should this lighter car also have been rear-wheel drive only? Would that have been more ‘fun’ or just more dangerous. Or both?

It looks stunning! the spoiler is a bit mad but it is an SV edition, all Lambo Sv’s have been biblicaly mad, the old Diablo SV was incredibly mad, almost too mad! If this has any chance of being an SV legend like the diablo then it has to be as mad as possible (judging by the video it is!)

hmm ..the NFS inspirated vid theme and that horrible hummer yellow.. simply lacks sufistication. Can´t believe Lambo can´t do better.. car´s great though.

I remember the old Diablo SV from Need For Speed III Hot Pursuit.
Boy didn’t i love that game!!! Yup, the modern day NFS have more realistic roads and the cars handle more like they should but then again, they just don’t have the feel of the old NFS’s…
Actually i’ld love to get hold of that game again and play it… It was class!!

Oh and wasn’t the old Diablo SV a rear wheel drive too…
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a rear wheel drive too.

Nope, the /4 designation means four-wheel drive.

    342 km/h? that’s 212 mph!

But I still think the bodykit belongs in Fazinatzion or Carbage. Matt black? On a factory car? Seriously? You’d really have to convince people…

They should also make an LP670-2. I want to know what that’d be like.

Aah, yeah.. I forgot about Lambo’s numbering system…
Their model names keep getting longer and more filled with numbers than a name!

    - Maybe it has a front/back power split like the Audi R8. 30% to the front 70% to the back?

it has got significant rear-bias 35/65 F/R. Still quite hard to do those slow speed donuts with 4×4 though – the front end tends to pull you straight under power.

looks like a chav got hold of the lambo and stuck a body kit on it and then realised they couldnt afford to colour code it

HAHAHA! I love people saying that this video lacks sophistication, it’s Lambo for christs sake, they’re not exactly reknowned for their sophistication, more for their yellow paint and lunacy.

The car’s great, the video’s great, the driver is a legend, and while yes, matte black would look epic, or that gun metal of the Reventon, yellow is just so Lambo.
